NIGHTMARE Split With NAPALM RECORDS
August 2, 2004French power metallers NIGHTMARE have parted ways with Napalm Records. "We will never forget what this label has done for us so far, giving us the breath for a second birth in 1999," the band write on their web site. "[Being that] Napalm Records [are] focusing [on] a completely different music style from what we offer, we simply decided all together that it would be better for us to find a more suitable label for what we have to offer. We are now out of contracts and currently considering new offers for releasing our seventh album! Any companies wishing to contact us about our current situation can reach us at [email protected] or through our management."
NIGHTMARE's most recent studio album, "Silent Room", was released last October through Napalm Records/SPV. "Silent Room" was produced by Terje Refsnes (TRISTANIA, SIRENIA) at Soundsuite Studio in France during March/April 2003, and was mastered at Finnvox studio in Helsinki, Finland by Mika Jussila (NIGHTWISH, STRATOVARIUS).
